guess what we woke up to this morning... snow! well, not much really, but enough to go out and play in. adella and i wandered around in the winter wonderland (frontyard) for a while, and even made a little snowman! looks like another perfect day for laying low at home and taking it easy... we'll be missing our usual thursday community center fun, but i think it might be better to keep adella away from the other kids until everyone is feeling better. since i never really get into watching the olympics on tv, i had no idea that they are starting tomorrow. i also had no idea that i missed the deadline for entering the knitting olympics. ah well. maybe next time. i am still set on finishing all of my unfinished projects AND knitting the cardigan. adella's latest impossibly cute activity: she was in the kitchen, and from downstairs i heard something drop and adella saying, "uh oh!" i went upstairs to see what mess was waiting for me, and adella was at the sink trying to get the washcloth. i gave it to her, she said thank you, and she took it to her table to clean up the drink she had spilled! she wiped the entire mess up all by herself! ...now if only i can train stig to do the same...
