done, done, and done!
and really bad lighting. but it started to rain as we were leaving the pool this afternoon, and it hasn't stopped yet. i like to take the pictures in natural light since inside lighting/flash use never shows the colors very well, but anyway... i used the rainy day as motivation to finish a few projects that have been in the works. skirt #3: uber-cool dishcloth (from the MDK book, of course): and finally! the slip-stitch basket: i think next time i'll put the handles a little further apart - they look wierd here. maybe i'll make them shorter next time? and here it is blocking (suzy, i know you were wondering about blocking - i washed it and am letting it dry over this oatmeal box for shaping...):

Yay, the basket it finished! Your fingers must be happy. That skirt looks awesome, bad lighting and all. I am so jealous that you can actually make and wear a skirt that you made without looking like and 8th grade Home Ec. reject.
