yesterday was a super-fun-filled day for me and adella. in the morning, we hosted a little pool party for a a few of adella's friends (and mine). we had bubbles, sidewalk chalk, toys, slides, pools, snacks, peach iced tea, and us mamas even managed to squeeze in some knitting in between chatting and chasing slippery two-year-olds. it was a beautiful day and we had a great time. sadly, i was too busy to remember to snap a few pictures. but with summer approaching, there will be many more pool parties and many more photo ops. after naptime and playing around the house for a few hours, we went to the Brew-N-View for dinner with amy and kyle and henry. the game room was full of kids and adella and henry ran around like mad for two hours. towards the end, adella could barely stand up she was so tired, but she refused to stop running. as you can imagine, this resulted in more than a few falls and bumps, none of which kept her down. no one can ever say she isn't resilient... today we're off to do gymnastics at the toddler gym time. the kids always have a blast, and we mamas have even been known to jump in the foam pit... **** this is the state of adella's room these days:

I love that we both posted pictures of our veggies on our blogs, lol. Hey! Veggies can be exciting!
mimi,
i've got a few herbs and a couple of young tomato plants, but the box of veggies is from the co-op farm. i talked abot it about a month ago in my posts i think.
basically, we split the cost of a seasons' share with our friends amy and kyle. each week, the farm delivers a box of organic produce and we share the veggies! we shareholders split the farms' expenses and they do the work, then deliver our goodies to us each week for the entire growing season.
win-win for everyone - and so yummy! (and yes, amy, very exciting too!)
if i had way more sun in our yard, i'd love to grow more veggies, but we're too shady at this house. i'm having lots of fun with the flowers and herbs!
you'll see for yourself when ya'll come up to visit!
