i found out that 'curious george' is showing now at the $2 brew n' view! i'm planning to take adella tomorrow, with our friends amy and henry. adella is in love with her curious george t-shirt and the CG soundtrack is playing non-stop in the car now. every time we get in, she says, "monkey music! watch it!" she hasn't quite grasped the idea that cd's and dvd's are different, though they look the same. anyway, we're excited about the monkey movie. i went to check out a new used book/cd/dvd store near our house today. i'm pleased to say - it it awesome! great selection, great prices, good organization, and best of all, it is 1 mile from our house! right next door to the craft/yarn store! let's see... now we have a yarn store, fabric store, and used bookstore all in a neat little row, conveniently located close to home. this could get dangerous. also, we got our first farm box today! not quite as big a box as i was envisioning, but i hear that the first few weeks are smaller since it is just the beginning of the growing season. i figured out that it breaks down into about $6.25 a week. not bad at all for a very nice selection of fresh organic veggies - yum yum! we have kale, baby bok choy, spring onions, radishes, lettuce, and lots of spinach. mmmm mmmm....
