today was a co-op day, and adella spent her three hours at the playground near elijah's house. despite her continuous escape attempts and doing a faceplant on the pavement, she had a great time and got along perfectly with the other kids. i spent my three hours doing my usual. yarn store, bookstore, library, coffee - in no particular order. is it possible to be comepletely in love with a book? if you are a knitting geek like i am, yes. i found the most wonderful knitting book ever at the bookstore today. Mason-Dixon Knitting. the first book ever that i've looked at and wanted to make every single project in it. the patterns are great, and the book is full of funny stories, fun ideas, and beautiful pictures. i spent the evening dropping semi-subtle hints to stig that it might be the perfect gift for a knitting-obsessed mama to receive on mother's day. adella and i played around the house all afternoon. me tidying up and adella de-tidying. we also did some gardening. adella is now my official waterer. it keeps her very busy and very happy. and the plants are happy too.
