okay - want to hear about how cute adella is? of course you do... stig got home early today, so we had a little time to hang out before he had to leave for class. adella and i were having a snack when he got home, so stig opened the cabinet to find a snack for himself. adella saw the popcorn box and told stig she wanted some, so he got it out and popped it in the microwave. while it was popping, she went to her bed and got her quilt and brought it to the livingroom. when she started spreading it on the floor, we just assumed she had forgotten the popcorn already and was playing her beloved game of 'sleep'. she spread it very carefully, smoothed out the wrinkles, even wanted me out of the way so she could spread it totally perfect. once the popcorn was done, adella came into the kitchen and picked up the bowl and started heading toward the livingroom, and took it right over to her blanket for a picnic! despite the no-food-in-the-livingroom rule, adella and i do occasionally have little picnics on the floor when we have snack or lunch. but this was much more fun since daddy was home too! so the three of us (plus t. bear and duckie) had a nice little popcorn picnic this afternoon... here's some pictures: duckie takes a bite (dark, i know, but stig has a strange aversion to using a flash) and a few non-picnic pictures: adella sharing her muffin with t. bear pretty! a couple of my tulips got stepped on this morning during knitting group. i brought them in so they could be pretty on the table instead of squashed in the yard.
