yes, i've been slacking on the blog posts. but, i do have a good excuse. i've been sick. today makes two weeks that i've been sick, and i finally broke down and went to the doctor sunday afternoon, got some antibiotics, and am on my way to feeling better. today is the first day i haven't been popping tylenol every 4 hours. so far i'm feeling okay without it - okay, but still not great. SO, enough whining. what has little bug been up to? well, today was babysitting co-op, and she spend three hours happily playing at henry's house while i went back home and cleaned the house. two weeks of illness = one dirty house. henry's house was lots of fun because she had never been there before. this means that all of his toys were brand new to adella. when i got there she was clutching an ernie doll and eating apple slices. she always does so good while i'm away. no clinging and crying when i leave, and when i come to pick her up, she runs up and gives me a big hug and then continues playing. i always get a good report from the other mamas, and i've never had to be called to come pick her up, so i take this as a sure sign that all is well. this afternoon, adella helped me make oatmeal cookies! she was in charge of stirring. of course, she also did a little tasting along the way. ("yummy!") looking longingly at the blobs of dough on the baking sheets... yum! here's adella, showing off her dressed up bunny: adella's treasure... oh - and! i finished adella's sundress today! so far no luck getting her to try it on, but hopefully soon. i also want to wash and dry it to see how the size will end up. it's 100% cotton, so i'm expecting it to shrink up a bit... anyway, here it is: night night everyone - it's movie time for us. adella's in bed and stig and i rented 'memoirs of a geisha'. i can't wait!
