we've been busy. adella spent the morning at babysitting co-op, while i got some super important things (errands) done. beth and jessie said she did great. apparently some of the other kids were pretty difficult today, in fact one of the other mamas had to be called to pick up her kid. but the report i got was that adella played and kept herself busy and got along with everyone. when i got there, she was busy coloring a picture, and hardly even noticed me walking in. after her nap, stig got home early so we all took a family trip to home depot. later while adella and i played in the yard, stig installed a big bright new light fixture over my 'craft room' in the basement. wow! what a difference! now i can actually see all of the dust and clutter! i've been avoiding the entire area since well before christmas, so the mess had really piled up: once i could actually see what i was doing, i got to work cleaning and organizing. upstairs, stig and adella watched the lion king, adella's latest obsession. it took me almost the entire movie, but i finally got it done: this has been the highlight of my day. maybe even my whole week. now i'm ready to start sewing again! special thanks for mimi and suzy for the wonderful sewing organizers they gave me for xmas - i finally got around to using them! here's the happy couch-potato couple--- adella has really been sweet with stig lately (sweeter than usual). last night he was in class, and adella asked about him over and over, especially at bedtime. later - sometime during the middle of the night - adella woke up and stood next to the bed by stig and said, "kiss. kiss. kiss." once he realized what she was saying, he gave her a kiss and she went back to bed and fell asleep! -- one of my super important errands was to go to blockbuster to rent 'walk the line' and i got the last copy! so now it's movie time - good night everyone.
