random acts of cuteness II

*adella and i parked behind a truck with a cute dog sitting in the back. this alone would have been a great thrill for adella, but this dog was wearing sunglasses! adella thought it was the most exciting thing she had seen all day. now she looks for the dog with glasses in every parking lot we go to. *adella painted the kitchen wall with cottage cheese! i couldn't believe it! she has never done that before... even with crayons she has never been big on the wall art. but i left her for a minute to write a quick email downstairs, and when i came up, the wall was covered with lumpy white scribbles. she looked at me, looked at the wall, and proudly said, "mess!" it's hard to see in the picture, but trust me - the colors are much more vivd in real life... *while i was knitting, adella got into my bag of needles, pins, beads and other little knitty things. when i told her i needed it back, she said, "share, right?" *at the playground today, one of adella's little friends that we don't see very often came and sat next to her on a bench. she looked at him and said, "name? name?" i told her his name was finn and she said, "hi finn!"
