i almost forgot! in knitting news, i've made progress on my neverending sweater after finding the last skein of Lamb's Pride Bulky Heirloom Blue in all of the asheville area. once i finished the body of the sweater, i decided to add a design to the arms, using some leftover green yarn from a hat i made last year. you'll never guess... i ran out of green before i could finish! so now i will have to track down another skein of yarn for this wonky sweater. the good news is, i'm liking the way it is turning out. here's a picture of the arm design - this is before seaming, with the arm flattened out. i've started the seaming today and things are looking good. i'll keep you posted...
