in celebration of the marvelous weather, today we all decided to skip the community center and resume our regular potluck playgroups (except no one knew whether to bring food or not, so we all just brought snacks). so we met at a nice little playground and the kids ran around and had tons of fun while us mamas chatted. adella has been helping me rake and bag leaves in the yard at home, and her favorite thing to do (of course) is to throw leaves in the air up over her head. it's lots of fun and pretty cute to watch too. well it isn't quite as cute when she's using dirt and dried up acorns and leaf bits. by the time we left the playground, she was absolutely covered with dirt, much to her delight. i swore i'd put her in the tub as soon as we got home, but we got home and adella was asking for a nap, so i could not pass up that opportunity. once she gets up, i swear i am going to give her a bath and change the sheets on her bed. maybe i'll even change ours too. for now, i'm going to squeeze in a few more quiet moments before naptime ends. ok-later.... oh - and i'll post pictures later too, i promise!! any of you getting the shakes yet after three whole days without new pictures? i am a lazy mama.
