we are being lazy this afternoon - the midday heat is making me so sleepy! i'm worthless... it's 90 degrees outside and not much cooler in our non-AC house. all i want to do is take a nap, but i'm settling for an iced coffee and hoping that it will wake me up. we had co-op over at kim's today. i was on duty with kim, and we only ended up with four kids! we played most of the time at the park across the street and then headed inside to have a bit of quiet before coming home. here's the lone picture i took today - the kids eating their snack: i've been working on a few sewing projects (pictures soon) and still knitting the cardigan and the blanket. although i promised myself i would not start any new knitting projects until i finish the cardigan, i have been buying yarn to make a knit rug for the kitchen. oh - before i forget - here's the little tote i made for henry's birthday: i filled it with little toy jungle animals (the more to get lost in the sofa!) and an animal activity sticker book. okay - boring post, i know. but it's been that kind of day. maybe tomorrow i'll take adella swimming and try to take some pictures. thursday we're driving over to gatlinburg to meet papa and pippi! i think i'm taking adella to the big aquarium at some point, and then we're all coming back to asheville for the weekend - AND, i have the weekend off work!! what a treat!
