two and a half!

since we'll be in the car most of the day for adella's official two-and-a-half birthday, i went ahead and measured her for her growth chart today: here she is, when i asked her to stand by the wall so i could take a picture: and here, after i offered her with a 'dora' vitamin! (oh, the power of a bribe. no, i mean motivator) (and i don't even have to use candy - a multivitamin will do the trick!) 37 inches now - she's two whole inches taller than she was just 6 months ago! it's such a cliche (and i say it all the time, i know), but she is just growing so fast! it seems like just yesterday she was a baby, and here she is now - a little girl who can walk and talk and make decisions and do things independently... i am so lucky to be able to stay home (almost full-time) and be with her. i would hate to miss all of the important yet zany little things that happen every day.
